a.       Explain differential motion analysis method.
b.      Analyze data preprocessing methods in Computer Vision.
c.       Differentiate between Fourier Transformation and Fourier Series.
d.      How Morphological filtering can be implemented in Open CV.
e.      Write a note on:    i) 3-D vision    ii) Maximum Likelihood Estimation
f.        Explain Human and Computer Vision Applications with CVIP tools.
g.       Write down the expression for the first order moments of a binary image. Use these expressions to compute the centroid of the object in the binary image given above. You may assume that the top left pixel has coordinates (0,0).
h.      Briefly describe the difference between diffuse reflection and specular reflection. Use diagrams where necessary in your description.
i.         Discuss the concept of video tracking in detail.
j.        A greyscale transformation can be applied directly onto a greyscale image to manipulate its pixel values (assuming the range is [0,255]). Draw the diagrams for the following greyscale transformations:
i)           (0.5 mark) thresholding the image at pixel value 100.
ii)          (0.5 mark) linearly stretch the intensity in the interval [100,200] to [0,255].
k.       How Normalized Cuts can be implemented in Color Image Segmentation?
l.         What determines a segment? How can we pose the problem mathematically?
m.    Illustrate Corner Detection for an image in Computer Vision.
